New Treb

Well, after three years of sitting and rotting away, we decided to give our origional treb a proper cremating. We hauled it out from where we left it three years ago, and took it down the hill and set it ablaze. Here are some pictures from the event.

Enjoy the pictures.

We set the treb on a brush pile, we would have liked it to be standing up, but it didn't work out.

It took us a bit to get started... someone *cough* phil *cough* didn't bring any newspaper...

But we didn get the fire going after all!

We got the blaze going pretty well.
Jonas: It's like a giant cigar!

Here's a picture of where we were burning it. Behind the willow tree you see a large flame. As you might have guessed, that is our trebuchet.

So we stood around and talked while our treb turned to ash. I suppose this could be compared to a Certian Roman Emperor playing a Certian Stringed Instrument while a Certian City burned to the ground.

Away she burns!

As it got dark the fire got so much sweeter. It also got really, really, really hot.

I mean, REALLY hot.

You just won't believe how mind boggling hot it really got.

It did make for some cool pictures.

And alas, the trebuchet is no more.
